Monday 14 October - Forecast for the area of the BT Global Challenge fleet for the following 3 days:
An area of high pressure to the north of the fleet will give rise to a mainly northeasterly airflow of between 15 and 20 knots.
As they approach the equator this airflow will ease and become predominantly easterly.
The seas for this period are forecast to decrease in height leaving a low, but confused, swell
