Weather Forecast issued by the Meteorological Office at 0710 on Sunday 22nd December 1996: The Yachts will be
sandwiched in between high pressure to the northeast and low pressure to the southwest, with a strong northwesterly flow in
between. The flow then easing for a time , before another high and low lie north and south of the route respectively, causing
the winds to strengthen again from the southwest.
Concert has rendezvoused with Time and Tide during the last 24 hrs to transfer fuel.
