Weather Forecast issued by the Meteorological Office at 0710 on Monday 23rd December 1996:
A large anticyclone will remain centred to the east of New Zealand's North Island. This high pressure combined with a series
of depressions will maintain winds between southwest and northwest along much of the route. Wind speeds of between 20
and 25 knots are expected with showers of rain from time to time.
Concert is due to rendez-vous with Courtaulds International at first light today to receive additional fuel.
