Tasman sea will gradually drift eastwards today as a high centre, 1030mb, located at approximately 40S 110E, advances
eastwards and extends a ridge towards Tasmania and the Bass Strait. By 0000 GMT Wednesday a large area of high
pressure is forecast to cover the Bass Strait and adjoining seas to both east and west with gentle east to southeast winds
prevailing.
