Three day forecast issurd by The Meteorological Office at 0800 UTC, Saturday 22 March 1997.
Conditions remain unsettled with further depressions and associated fronts moving from west to east across the route. A
temporary window of fair weather is expected on Sunday as a transient zone of high pressure passes over the race area
before a cold front brings more wind and rain from the west.
Current reports from the fleet indicate that winds are around westerly and between 15 - 20 knots.
