High pressure is building near 40S 170W, and will maintain mostly fair weather and light to moderate winds for a time.
However, by Monday, this is likely to drift eastwards, as an extra-Tropical storm (the remnants of Fergus), move quickly
south-eastwards across North Island to be centred near 43S 180W by 1200GMT Tuesday 31st Dec (NB. Precise track and
intensity of this remains under review).
