High pressure to the northwest of New Zealand expected to weaken and drift eastwards. An area of low pressure, together
with its associated cold front currently affecting the south island will drift northwards and slowly fill during the first part of next
week. Winds willl be strong ahead of the cold front, becoming light as the front and area of low pressure become slow
moving.
