3 Day Weather Forecast issured by the Meteorological Office at 0730GMT 6th March 1997: A large area of High Pressure
extends across Tasmania, from the Great Australian Bight to South Island, New Zealand. This will move east to be centred to
the southeast of South Island by 1200 GMT on Friday. A cold front, bringing rain and strong winds will move across your route
on Friday and Saturday. After that, pressure quickly builds from the west, as a new area of high pressure becoming
established south of the Australian landmass.
