Three day weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Office at 0500 UTC on Thursday 5th June 1997:
A low pressure centre, located at 37N 68W at 0000 GMT, will move northeastwards and intensify slightly, its associated cold
front tracking southeastwards through the yachts but becoming slow moving on Friday just north of the 30th parallel. Behind
the front pressure will build from the northwest with a high centre expected over the Boston area by 1200 GMT Saturday.
