Andy was responsible for managing the technical delivery of the website and the fax-on-demand system, in addition to the fax update software (This converts the results to fax format). He also developed the internet tools for the BT Race Results System to allow this to receive the latest results.

Hester has been reponsible for liaising with the Challenge Business, the Race Office and many others to fill the site with up-to-date, informative and engaging content. Now that the race has finished, she has gone off to Kenya for a well-earned rest.
Jasper is a 19 year old student who worked at BT during his gap year. He has been responsible for maintaining and updating the website in the months running up to the finish, and has added animated graphics, VBScript and Java to the features which the site boasts.

Martin was responsible for all the weather maps and text overlays. Having left the group he is now working on Wireplay. Email : duffymj@boat.bt.com
Emma was involved with producing the initial story board for the site and she also liaised with Foresight (the graphics company used) and Hester to keep the website content fresh. Maurice is the group leader of Andy, Jasper, Emma, Iain and Chris. His role has been to make sure everything runs smoothly and the bumps get ironed out. He was also directly responsible for organising the link between the yachts and RHQ and processing the raw locations to produce the statistical information on each yacht. Email : mcquitmp@boat.bt.com
Iain, who has just return from his wedding in Iceland, designed the software which reads the yacht data and dynamically creates the results section. In addition he co-ordinated the VRML results system. Email : richarid@boat.bt.com
